With the holidays just around the corner and the festive adverts ramping up a notch, there are loads of apps out there pushing gift-buying, but Basket wants to push shopping consciously and revolutionise the industry.
So how does it work?
Shoppers can bookmark potential purchases from any online retailer and organise them in a single space. The Basket companion app will then inform them of price drops or any discounts available on their items.
Following on from Basket’s latest survey with its users:
- 95% of users feel more organised
- 97% of users would recommend Basket
- 91% of users saved time shopping online
- 83% of users saved money shopping with Basket
Every day over £1 million worth of products are added to Basket from over 5,000 retailers that are in partnership with the money-saving app. Retailers include:
Amazon UK, Nike, John Lewis, H&M, IKEA and the list goes on.

The BASKET app launched in 2022 with investors including, Lightbank, the VC firm founded by Groupon co-founder, Eric Lefkosky, as well as co-founder and CEO of Worldfirst, Jonathan Quin, Mumsnet founder and CEO, Justine Roberts, plus the most recent investor - James Watt of Brewdog.BASKET is available to download as a browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera. It can also be downloaded as an app to iOS, Android and Web.
